Shirley Joo is a New York City–based costume and fashion designer currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, with a focus on special occasion wear. Shirley has worked extensively as a theater technician across opera, regional theater, Off-Broadway and Broadway productions, as well as community and commissioned work. She is the president of the costume design club at FIT and is deeply passionate about historical fashion and theater costuming.
